I realised that yesterday I failed to provide context about what a cheese wrap looks like on my special
Weeble diet:

I am happy to report that my energy levels already feel much better for the extra hit of sugar, fat and
carbs. Probably not a sustainable diet once I’m no longer burning 4000-5000 calories per day, but it seems
to be working for now, which is great.
Tomorrow I climb the final 500m to Stag saddle, which at 1925m is the highest point on Te Araroa. As
much as I still hate going uphill, it’s quite pronounced that my mood is never better than when at altitude.
Perhaps one day I’ll figure out how to get groceries and high speed wifi on a mountain top, so I can retire
there to a life of alpine bonhomie. Until then, I am really excited for the saddle and one more amazing
obstacle on the road home overcome.
