Pacific Crest Trail

From the highest depths to the lowest heights the implacable forces of ICE have hunted our entirely unreasonably incarcerated hero.

An epic chase of over 800km has featured many hardships, moments of challenge, and whimsical posing for photos.

Blowdowns have been negotiated with the panache of a salsa dancing mountain goat
Post breakfast food comas have been overcome with only brief napping
The anticipated immigration hearing has been rehearsed for
The merciless sun of burn zones has been survived
Beast infested swamps forded
Icy tundra traversed
Also slightly less icy tundra
Mountains scaled
…and summited
And finally…

After so many feats of derring-do, you would be forgiven for thinking our protagonist (and lexicon) had been transported back in time to star in a 60s spy novel. But after more close shaves than Sweeny Todd, our intrepid fugitive has reached Oregon, assumed a new identity (complete with unconvincing southern drawl), and finally achieved freedom!

So long Washington, yee haw Oregon

His journey continues in the high altitude desert of Oregon

  2. Wenn man an Bord den Äquator überquert, gibt es auch immer eine Feier. Ich glaube die fallen unterschiedlich aus, je nachdem in welcher Richtung die Passage sich vollzieht. In diesem Fall hast Du Dich offenbar entschlossen, ihm seine Handschellen abzunehmen (?) Wenn ihr northbound laufen würdet, hätte er vielleicht eine Tüte über den Kopf bekommen. Er hat mehr Glück als im hat ICE … ich gratuliere Euch beiden!
