Not too much to write about today. My main task today has been eating the food that I bought yesterday
to stock up on calories for the days ahead, which is a task I am happy to report is going very well.
I have also finished planning out approximate stopping points for the next 6 day leg through the
Herakino, Raetea and Puketi forests. The plans are sketchy in places, but are as good as can be done from
paper. Everyone is really excited to finally start the forests, although I think it’s fair to say that for all of
its desolate nothingness, 90 mile beach will still be looked back on with fondness. For now though, there’s
glorious sunshine, another orange that needs eating and maybe a few more cookies too.
